Aston Islander

The Aston Islander is in a central location, very close to almost everything in all directions. The staff is very helpful and kind and each room features air conditioning, unlike many hotels in the area, and all the basic amenities any good hotel should have. The rooms are also clean and well-kept, and the hotel grounds themselves immaculate. With access to a great pool that offers barbeque grills for those who wish to cook their own food, this hotel is a wonderful place to spend a visit to Kauai.

Aston Kauai Beach

The Aston Kauai Beach resort is a nicely-kept hotel located right on the beach and is within walking distance of the marketplace and shopping center. The staff is a very pleasant and helpful one, although short in supply. While some of the rooms’ furniture could use an update, the décor is very well put together. However, the catch about this resort is that they charge a $12/day fee on top of what has already been paid- they claim it is for parking and internet- which is not mentioned during booking.

Castle Makahuena

Castle Makahuena is a great hotel in a quiet area, located very close to the beach. Each Ocean Front room offers fantastic views of the beach as well as breathtaking sunrises from your lanai. The hotel is very immaculate and well-maintained, with nice decor and several amenities. This resort also offers other activities such as tennis, swimming, whale-watching, and others.
